As the Strawberry Project Leader for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, I have had the pleasure to work with Redoubt Construction on several large stream restoration efforts in the Strawberry Valley. These types of projects are by nature highly variable in the scope, effort, and method. Through many trial runs in these restoration efforts we have developed particular methods that have proven to be effective on our streams. Redoubt was brought on board midway through some of this work, and I found that they were exceptional at being able to grasp the concepts that we were working on, and were more than willing to alter practices to make sure we had the product we were looking for to restore the streams in the Strawberry Valley, and soon they were able to help us better our end product through their proactive approach to providing input in the stream restoration process.
Through all of these projects from 2009 to 2016, we have always found Redoubt to be extremely willing to learn new methods, meet deadlines, and provide an exceptional end product. The stream restoration effort that they worked on was responsible for over a 90% reduction in phosphorous loading from the Strawberry River, exceeding the Department of Environmental Quality goals. We are also excited about the effects that these efforts will have fish production and growth in these important tributary streams. Redoubt deserves much of the credit for these exceptional results. They will be at the top of my list for preferred contractors for future stream restoration efforts.
I don’t usually write reviews but I was so impressed with the rock wall that Redoubt restoration built us that I really wanted to express what an amazing job he did. We had a retaining wall that toppled over into our neighbor's driveway. I scrambled to find someone to fix it and I couldn’t find anyone willing to work. I called Redoubt Restoration and Dave himself came right over, quoted us a price and that’s what we paid no hidden fees, and they are very affordable. He did an amazing job, he built it when he said he would and it looks amazing!
